Cooking Class and Farm Experience at Patom’s Organic
8:00 A.M.: You’ll travel to Nakhon Patom, a small rural province just outside of Bangkok, and to Patom’s Organic Farm, an eco-cultural project on the banks of the Tachine River. You’ll begin with a hands-on workshop of organic farming: soil, seeding, planting, compost, and fertilizer. You’ll then transition into the kitchen where you’ll turn your freshly picked raw ingredients into a traditional local meal. (7 hours)

8:00 A.M.: Central to the local neighborhood of Khlong Lat Mayom is its narrow canals where the daily market floats up and down the water. You’ll be alongside floating food vendors and floating kitchens that can be flagged down to order lunch. Don’t miss the famous ‘boat noodles’ or pla pao (salt-crusted fish) but a variety of dishes will be floating by for you to try. (6 hours)

The 3-wheeled bicycles have been a major form of public transportation for over 60 years and are still traditional to this day. You’ll begin your discovery at Tha Pae Gate and ride leisurely through the colorful and narrow back streets of the Wat Puak Tam neighborhood. (4 hours)
